Cebu Pacific Cadet Pilots Mark Batch 2 Commencement

Mactan, Cebu, Philippines – April 15, 2026 — The Cebu Pacific Cadet Pilot Program, in partnership with Airworks Aviation Academy, celebrated the commencement of Batch 2 at Mactan Newtown Beach, recognizing 19 cadets who successfully completed their Ab Initio (AB) training.

The ceremony was graced by LtGen Raul Del Rosario AFP (Ret), Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), who served as the keynote speaker. In his address, he emphasized the importance of strong training partnerships in developing competent and safety-focused pilots for the growing aviation sector.

The graduates will now proceed to the next phase of the program, Type Rating training, bringing them closer to becoming airline-ready pilots. The cadet program offers a structured pathway from initial flight training to airline operations, ensuring a high standard of technical proficiency and professionalism.

Through its partnership with Airworks Aviation Academy, Cebu Pacific Air continues to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of world-class Filipino pilots.
