The cadets enjoyed exploring Brisbane and the Gold Coast before beginning their flight training at the Archerfield Airport campus. Over the next 18 to 20 months, they will undergo a comprehensive pilot training program designed to meet international airline standards.

The training will include both ground school and in-flight training, leading to the issuance of an Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings. Upon completion, the cadets will return to the Philippines for license conversion and type rating training with Philippine Airlines Aviation School, preparing them to fly for the country’s flag carrier.

This partnership highlights the shared commitment of Airways Aviation and Philippine Airlines to produce world-class pilots trained under global standards.

An exciting new chapter begins as these future aviators take off toward their airline careers!
