Emirates to Hire 20,000 Employees Over the Next 5 Years

Dubai‑based Emirates Airline has announced a major recruitment drive, planning to hire nearly 20,000 new operational employees over the next five years as part of its ambitious expansion strategy. The recruitment push aims to support the airline’s growing fleet, route network and service operations.

Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer, Adel Al Redha, revealed that the hiring will focus on critical operational roles including pilots, cabin crew, engineers, technicians and airport staff. These hires are directly linked to the airline’s aggressive aircraft delivery schedule, including significant Airbus A350 additions, and its plans to deploy new aircraft to both new destinations and increased frequencies on existing routes.

In addition to operational roles, Emirates is continuing initiatives to bring in talent from both international markets and locally, with special programmes designed to attract and train UAE nationals for positions across engineering, cabin crew and management tracks.
